It’s that time of year when many of us resolve to get in shape and shed a few pounds. Those of us at The Manor Group are part of that group of resolution makers and struggle with keeping up with our goals once the first few weeks of January have passed.
A commonly heard excuse for not going to the gym is lack of time. We are all super busy with kids, jobs and Netflix, right? Fortunately, we offer 24-hour access to our fitness center. It’s already free to our residents but we make sure it’s open all the time. No holiday closures or bad weather delays! Plus, if Netflix is still taking up too much of your free time, we provide complimentary WIFI so you can get your binge on while you work your bulge off!
Another way to keep yourself on track is to find a buddy. Walking club, Zumba classes and weight loss meetings are just a few of the wonderful community activities we have hosted so residents can get help in reaching their goals. Tell us what would help you stay accountable.
We wish you a fit and healthy 2017 and hope your resolutions become good habits. Remember that our pool season is just a few months away!
December is that time of the year when Springetts Apartments’ neighbors gather together to celebrate the holidays. One of our favorite traditions is our annual Holiday Dinner.
Last week we hosted an open house dinner in our beautifully decorated community room. It was a wonderful chance for everyone to come together as friends and neighbors to celebrate the season. We loved watching residents and staff sit together and enjoy good food and great company.
We even had a visit from Santa who brought presents for the children in the community!
It makes our entire community feel like a family. Our Holiday Dinner is always one of our most popular events and has become an anticipated tradition.
At Springetts Apartments, we consistently strive to explore new ways of giving back to the community.
This fall we chose to raise money for our local Toys for Tots, which provides families in need with presents for the holidays. For a $5 donation to our “Soup Social,” residents enjoyed a variety of yummy soups, perfect for the chilly night. We also hosted a raffle for a chance to win tickets to the Holly Jolly Christmas Show at the Dutch Apple Theater in Lancaster.
For those who couldn’t attend dinner but would still like to contribute, we have donation boxes for Toys for Tots and Harvest of Hope Food Pantry in York ready to be filled!
We are genuinely proud of our residents and what they continually accomplish for society!
Springetts Apartments offers great amenities and we wanted to add something special for our four-legged residents. We now have a community dog park!
The new fenced play area is a wonderful area for the dogs of Springetts to run off-leash while their owners can meet and relax. We have already received rave reviews from our pet owners and their fur babies.
Call the office for more information or stop by and visit.
With Spring’s arrival we have begun to prepare our Community Garden. Residents are invited to “farm” a plot in the garden and enjoy a harvest of fresh vegetables, fruit, even flowers. Stop into the Rental Office to ask questions or sign up for a spot. It’s always a lot of fun to see who has the greenest thumb!
We will be having an Open House on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 from 10-2. We will be entering names in a drawing to win different prizes for people that come to the open house.
Plus we have a special Resident Referral Program in March only. Refer a friend in March and you will receive a $200 Visa gift card if they sign a 12 month lease. Call the Rental Office for more information on our special March Resident Referral Program
